On this page, I started with a different background….didn’t like it and covered it with black gesso. I can’t begin to describe what I did on this page…I made lots of marks for texture. After the paint dried, I used white and black Uni-ball Signo pens. I also got out my fine line Sharpie Pen for some finishing touches. Have I mentioned that Sharpie Pens are one of my favorite pens? 🙂 They also have Sharpie Pens with a medium point.
Looks really beautiful ! Love the black shining through everywhere. Your cards are beautiful too, might be a nice project to try later this year 😉

Oh, wow! This is gorgeous!! I love all the cross-hatching in the background. It makes me think of looking at the summer roses through a screen door. This is definitely one of my favorites that you’ve done recently.

Oh this is such a yummy page Mary! Isn’t it funny how so much beauty can come from a page you disliked? I love roses and they are always my doodle-flowers – Rennie Mackintosh has a lot to answer for!!
