Journal Page & Drawings

It’s been a good day…I got my new yogurt maker today and new art supplies.  The yogurt maker is YoLife Yogurt Maker.   I probably paid more for this one because it  is American made. I purchased mine on Ebay but they are available on Amazon and other stores.  You can use the jars that come with it or use tall jars like Mason jars,  pickle jars, etc…it comes with two lids….tall & short.  I can’t wait to try it!

I did the journal page yesterday in my composition notebook.  I did get a new Strathmore Mixed Media Visual Journal today in my art supplies.  I may switch from the composition book to it soon.  For both of the drawings, I used a Bic pencil and a blending stick.  I drew those in my Moleskine….I’m nearing the end of it. 🙂

I absolutely LOVE your journal pages. I love to use composition notebooks and I have created my best masterpieces in the composition notebooks. I have about 5 of them going right now. I also have the Strathmore Mixed Media one too and I like that one although it doesn’t like heavy washes of watercolor but that’s ok. It takes just about everything else. Thanks for your comment today. I really love your art. The girl with the hat is fabulous!

The girl is fantastic! Great job on the shading, and I love her hair.

We have a Salton yogurt maker but it’s getting old. I might have to invest in a new one. The one you have looks good. Let me know how you like it after you’ve used it.

Wonderful sis. Sunshyne really wants to come to your house. She has asked me several times if I would take her to your house. I need to bring her soon. She is really interested in everything you are doing. We are working on our own little masterpiece tonight.
