Deep Illusion

I finished this yesterday.  This started out with light shades of yellow and orange  but I always seem to end up with deeper richer colors.  I used acrylic paints, Caran d’Ache crayons, and inks.  I used gold and orange  Dr. Ph. Martin’s Bombay India Ink and Liquitex Acrylic Ink in phthalocyanine green(blue shade)….love that stuff!  It mixes with white acrylic paint to get all different shades of green.  The inks can also be mixed with water to give a watercolor effect.

Another beautiful piece! You’re on a roll! I’ve never worked much with inks other than writing with them or just drawing some lines. I like the way all your colors just seem to flow together.

    Happy New Year!!!
