Technicolor Face-2

I finished this face yesterday. I really am enjoying painting these faces…it’s more liberating for me than trying to paint with more realistic colors.  On this one, I used Payne’s Gray, Naphthol Crimson, Yellow Light Hansa, Cobalt Teal, as well as flesh tones.  After I finish the third  face I have started, I’m going to stop using glaze and try water to thin out the paint…I am having problems with the glaze not going on smoothly.

Hi Mary, Thanks for coming over to my blog. I just got caught up with yours–I love your doodling. I’m almost signed up for Traci B.’s class, but I see it’s just through August. I think she does it the same way Suzi B. does it? I’m going to wait until September. I want to take the doodle class (her newest one)
I really like your face too!! I’m going to attempt mine next week. I have one more show this weekend and then a little break until September.
