Moleskine Face -#4

I started by sketching the face with graphite and adding shadows with some colored pencils. I also used colored pencils to add color to the little houses.  Then I covered both pages with clear gesso.  After that, I added more shadows with the colored pencils and added texture to the hair with Caran d’Ache crayons.  To finish this, I used some of the foam stamps I made a few nights ago while watching tv.  I had some Ranger Distress Ink pads in several colors that I had never used.  I used these colors: mustard seed, worn lipstick, broken china, and walnut stain.  I like how the stamping turned out,  but next time, I think I’ll try them over more layers.
