I’m really liking this new journal…it’s a joy to work in so far. This is the fourth page. This one began with a wash, collage pieces glued down. Then I started drawing little flowers and swirls in the background. I used a Sharpie pen and Caran d’Ache crayons again on this page. I am finding that I can use a Sharpie pen if the crayons have been thinned with water. As for the future, I’m trying to stay positive about it.
Every time I visit you I see something else that makes me glad I stopped in. You always make me want to keep trying to succeed- and success for me would be to create something that I am happy with. Your work is creative, colorful, and inspiring. I have the feeling I have told you this before, but I really admire the stuff that you produce!
I love the blues and greens in this piece- but it is the quote that really does it for me- you have made a sort of “vision board”- something that I could live with, on my wall. The quote, colors, and drawings add up to a peaceful wish.
Beautiful.

Thank you so much to you both…Trish my journal is a small Holbein mixed media book. Look on the journal page I did called “Alternating Currents.” I mentioned the kind and where I got it on that post. Jenny, thanks for adding me to your links, I greatly appreciate that.

I sometimes find it hard to be optimistic about the future. Seems people are forgetting more and more the importance of maintaining a “healthy and radiant” world. Still, this makes me smile. 🙂
