Art Journal – Life in a Museum

I doubt this statement is true for most people:   “If we live long enough we may find our entire life in a museum.”  I know it won’t be for me unless they dig my bones up eons from now and put them in a museum.  🙂  These pages started with two new shades of acrylic paint I picked up:  Plum Kiss and Concord Grape.  After the paint dried I also used watercolor pencils in similar shades.  The stamping was done with a stamp I carved from an eraser.

This is Soooo pretty! And in my favorite colors, too! You carved a stamp from an eraser? You’re good! I like these pages a lot.

Thank you Katie…check out Milliande on You Tube. She has several vidios showing how she carves her stamps. She is really good!! Thanks for coming by!

Your Moleskine must feel very proud to have a talented artist (Mary) dress her up, decorate her and give her a bright colourful yet clear voice. I’m sure all other Moleskines look on enviously! If yours is the beauty then my Moleskine is the kid sitting in the mud making mud pies!

The only thing more amazing than the colors I’ve seen in your work is the textures. It’s a feast! Everything seems to pop from the page.
