It’s been difficult to get back into a routine after the holiday….but I think I’m getting there, finally. I see lots of classes and new projects springing up all over the blogosphere. I did sign up for Alisa Burke’s new class that starts next week. I discovered a new (to me) craft and sewing blog: Craftsy I signed up for a machine quilting class and a free quilt block of the month class. I hope to continue working on my quilt I started about two years ago
My goal for the new year is to finish two larger art journals that I started last year. One of them is nearly finished. I misplaced my old book with the faces sometime during the holidays. I found a small book that has to do with loan payments and that will be my new sketchbook for faces until the other one is located.

love them all, i might go see what class alisha has, I have taken most of hers
Looks like you’re getting back into the swing of things. I always like seeing your face drawings…and I like the collages, too.
I know what you mean about getting back into a routine. I’m currently unemployed (my choice) so my sleeping schedule is all a mess & my motivation is floundering a little as I enjoy this time to myself. Love your face drawings.
Happy new year to you too! A creative one I hope!
Beautiful work, Mary!
p.s. I couldn’t sew on a button – I think I would be in trouble!
It has been a while since my last visit to your blog. I love the things you’re showing here, especially the last piece, it is just stunning! Happy creating!
