Collage – Graffiti Panel #1
I signed up for a two week online class with Traci Bautista. It’s a mini workshop called Graffiti Panels. I watched the first video and quickly tried out some of the techniques. She uses cardboard panels and that’s what I used here. I think it needs more color. On a day like this…it just is.

If you compare your last piece to this one, you can say it needs more color- but this is really very nice. It’s interesting, and I don’t mind your “lack” of color- because there is enough of a design element to focus on.
That said however, I also liked your other “on a day like this” because of the color, which grabbed my attention first. I love the large girl in front. You say you were just doodling??

I like just the hint of soft color in the background with the bold black and white in front.

Hi, new here and browsing through I found your blog and this entry. I think this is beautiful. As Alberta mentioned, graphic and fierce. I love the bold black that gets blurred by the soft lavender/pink. Thanks and I will be following!
